LAFD AND LAPD responded to a call of a male who had been shot and was lying on the sidewalk.  He was later pronounced deceased.

LAFD was called out  to rescue a horse and it's rider who were stuck in mud. The firefighters used a high-point rope system to help the horse out of the mud.

A tanker truck carrying 9400 lbs of liquid propane hit the center divider while heading South on the 405 fwy.  It took several hours to upright the tanker and reopen the fwy.

LAPD attempted to stop a vehicle, which became a pursuit, and ended with the suspected ex-convict running into the water at Hansend Dam.  He was found several hours later, drowned in the water.
